  • Other information – that the healthcare organization chooses to send to or store in Talia.

For certain healthcare customers in the United States, Talia may act as a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).

When we handle Protected Health Information (“PHI”) on behalf of a Covered Entity or another Business Associate:

  • We do so under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) that governs our handling of PHI.

  • We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect PHI as required by HIPAA.

  • The healthcare organization controls how PHI is used and disclosed; Talia processes PHI in accordance with their instructions and our agreement.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Services

  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy

  • Comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements
